Mela Cabayan is a Senior Associate at Mabuhay Capital. Prior to joining Mabuhay Capital, Mela was a Senior Associate for Transactions Support at Ernst & Young Transaction Advisory Services, Inc (EY-TASI).

At EY-TASI, Mela updated financial models for various transaction support services (i.e., loan and asset valuation models), assisted senior managers in managing mandated and project development engagements, drafting of critical documentation (i.e., project proposal, client presentation, etc.). In addition to day-to-day activities, she also had additional responsibilities such as supervising overall management of transaction logistics and client coordination such as maintaining virtual datarooms.

Mela obtained her B.S. Business Administration degree (Cum Laude) from the University of the Philippines–Diliman (2006)
